Looking for a holiday that ticks all the boxex? Try our California Coast itinerary. Put the top down on your convertible and make the most of the sunshine and coastal scenery down Highway 1. Along the way, experience charming seaside towns like Carmel and Santa Barbara whilst enjoying a host of attractions, superior dining and plenty of culture in the bigger cities of San Fran and San Diego.
Of course, the Pacific Northwest has plenty to offer as well. From the rugged, stunning coastlines of Washington to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, these somewhat lesser talked about states have plenty to offer and will give you absolutely breathtaking scenery along the way. If you’re into hiking and the great outdoors, a fly-drive holiday to the American Pacific Northwest or The glorious Rocky Mountain region is simply a must-do.
As well as being great value for money, Canada has some beautiful national parks that are just waiting to be explored. The snow-capped mountain ranges, glassy lakes and picturesque log cabins offer a vision of the perfect wintery getaway. However, you don’t want to forget the bustling, cosmopolitan cities that have some unique sites of their own to offer.

"Hands down, my favourite fly-drive holiday was the Cool California Coast Tour along scenic Highway 1. Each of the seaside towns we visited were lively and great fun. I loved watching the surfers, I even did a bit of whale watching. Starting the tour with a stay on the Queen Mary was fascinating, when I got to San Francisco I didn't want it to end, so I carried on up the coast and spent a few days in Northern California too."

"One of my favourite fly-drive holidays is our Contrasting Utah and Colorado tour. The mix of the lush, Colorado alpine scenery with the flaming desert colours of Utah is amazing. I'm a big cowboy and western fan, so I loved my stay in Gouldings Lodge in Monument Valley. In your room you can watch movies of the famous westerns filmed in this area!"

"Route 66 definitely needs to be on the "do before you die" list. The slices of Americana, the open road and 8 states - there is just no fly drive that gives you the same glimpse into life in the US. I'd love to help you plan your own nostalgic America holiday."

"I adore the combination of so many things I love while on holiday - the South and sunshine! Our Beignets, Bayous and Barrier Islands starts out in New Orleans with all the food and music. Then head across the world's longest continuous bridge over water to some of the south's sweetest communities. Then hit all the best bits of Florida's Gulf Coast. Convertible? Sure thing!
