The expansive plains of Nebraska spread from the prairies of the east to meet the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in the west, and small towns and farms are the only punctuation in the endless landscape. Omaha is the state's largest city and sits on the west bank of the Missouri River.
There's more to do in Nebraska than you might think. There is a wonderful heritage of pioneers and Plains Indians together with some wonderful natural attractions. Visit the Scott's Bluff National Monument, Lincoln's Children's Zoo, Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo or the Lauritzen Botanical Gardens.
