Day 1 : Arrive Toronto
Welcome to Toronto. At 6 p.m., gather at the hotel with your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception.
Day 2 : Toronto Sightseeing
Start the day with an orientation tour of cosmopolitan, multi-cultural Toronto, viewing sprawling Queens Park; the lively entertainment district, stately University Avenue and the Provincial Parliament Buildings. Embark on a trip to the top of the iconic CN Tower.
Day 3 : Toronto - Niagara Falls
Enjoy a panoramic view of the thundering cascades at Niagara Falls before taking an exhilarating boat ride to the base of spectacular Horseshoe Falls. This evening, enjoy a delightful Be My Guest experience at a family-owned and operated winery. Join your hosts for an exclusive tasting of their award-winning wines, including their famous ice wine, a speciality of the region, made from grapes that have been frozen while still on the vine. The result is a refreshingly sweet dessert wine. Sample some of Niagara's regional cuisine created with local seasonal ingredients in a marvellous setting with stunning views of the vineyard.
Day 4 : Niagara Falls – Kingston – Ottawa
Travel north along the shore of Lake Ontario for an orientation tour of Canada's first capital, Kingston. See the beautiful historic buildings, churches, picturesque neighborhoods and 19th century fortifications. Continue through rolling farmlands, following rivers and lakes to the current capital and arrive at your hotel, ideally located in downtown Ottawa.
Day 5 : Ottawa - Parc Omega - Quebec City (2 nights)
This morning, travel to Parc Omega, a safari park this is home tomany different kinds of wildlife. Later find yourself in Quebec City.
Day 6 : Quebec City Sightseeing
Join your local specialist on an exploration of Old Quebec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk the narrow streets of the atmospheric Old Town and the Plains of Abraham, the site of a major colonial battle between the British and the French. Enjoy the afternoon on your own.
Day 7 : Quebec City - Montreal (2 nights)
After deprting Quebec City, stop at a local cabane a sucre (sugar shack) to learn about all things maple syrup and enjoy a traditional local lunch. Enter Montreal, the largest French-speaking city outside of France, and stop at Mount Royal (the hill that gave its name to the city) for panoramic views over one of the loveliest cities in North America.
Day 8 : Montreal Sightseeing
Today, your Local Specialist introduces you to the historic sites of the city, including spectacular Notre-Dame Basilica, the colourful Old Port area and the modern, bustling downtown. Tonight, toast to your Eastern Canada adventure at a Farewell Dinner to celebrate the end of your holiday.
Day 9 : Depart Montreal or Toronto
Bid au revoir to your newfound friends as you are transferred to either Montreal or Toronto International Airport. However, your adventure doesn't have to end here. Perhaps you may decide to extend your stay and spend a few days exploring Boston or maybe take a cruise from Quebec City.
