Formerly known as the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, this museum features art from the finest contemporary artists in America, as well as significant works by, amongst others, Charles Russell, Frederic Remington, and Albert Bierstadt. Of the numerous works on display, must-sees include James Earle Fraser's fabulous 18-foot sculpture, “The End of the Trail”; Colorado sculptor Gerald Balciar's massive white marble cougar, “Canyon Princess”; and Windows to the West, five breathtaking Western landscapes by Wilson Hurley. The complex also contains a turn-of-the-century Western town called Prosperity Junction.
