Fort Worth relives its western heritage at the annual Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show which typically runs which runs from late January to early February. Livestock raisers and rodeo professionals come from all over the country to compete for prizes and show off their ranching and riding skills in the 100-acre Will Rogers Memorial Centre complex. The show is like a huge county fair and rodeo. Visitors can roam big barns full of livestock and farming equipment.

The rodeo performances are now the show's highlight: Riders see how long they can stay on bucking broncos and bulls.
