Houston Holidays
So what was the first word ever to be spoken from the moon? That’s right – “Houston”! Houston is the fourth largest city in America (behind only New York, Los Angeles and Chicago) and, as home to 2 million people, is the most populated city in the southern US.
The “Bayou City” has a delightful warm, sunny climate throughout the year and is also known for its diverse and rich culture full of arts, entertainment, and great dining. Relaxing is easy, with great golf courses, beautiful parks, sumptuous spas, inspiring museums and spectacular shopping. For family fun, there are amusement parks, a world-class zoo, the aquarium, the Children’s Museum and many festivals and special events throughout the year.
Houston has some fantastic museums and similar attractions – don’t miss the Zoo and the Downtown Aquarium, the Holocaust Museum, the Battleship Texas, the Buffalo Soldier Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts.
