North Shore Holidays
Less than an hour's drive from bustling Waikiki Beach are the stunning beaches of Oahu's famous North Shore. Sunset, Laniakea and Hale'iwa are where surfing as we know it started back in the 1960's. There are ten beaches to choose from along this stretch of coast, but we recommend that you head for Waimea Bay-home to white sand, black volcanic rock and some of the biggest waves on the planet.
During the winter surfers take on 40ft walls of water that mere mortals could never contemplate.
If you are looking to visit Oahu and want to stay in the less crowded part of the Island, we suggest you head to the North Shore.
Alternatively, if you are staying in Waikiki, hire an open top car and explore this beautiful coast. En route to the North Shore you'll encounter Pineapple Plantations, jaw-dropping scenery, historic towns and stunning Botanical Gardens.
