The mountain resort of Killington lies in the heart of the Green Mountains in central Vermont. The resort itself is comprised of seven mountains so it is hardly surprising that winter sports enthusiasts flock to the town. 

Summertime in the Green Mountains is truly idyllic with numerous hiking and biking trails.  Gifford Woods State Park even includes a section of the Appalachian Trail which runs for almost 2,200 miles from northern Maine to Georgia.
