Enjoy awesome seascapes, sheer cliffs, 120 miles of hiking trails and over 50 miles of biking routes within Acadia National Park.  The park preserves much of Mount Desert Island as well as two smaller islands nearby and your easiest point of entry and base for a visit here is the town of Bar Harbor.  The park is home to some 40 different species of  wildlife including red squirrels, chipmunks, beavers, coyote and black bears.
