The Legendary Coast Starlight
"Your carriage rolls along an ancient railroad, cut into the Californian Mountains long before gold-hungry pilgrims made their journeys here in search of riches. The hypnotic motion of the train alternately lulls you to sleep and stirs you awake, revealing the panoramic treasures of the West Coast at your window. From the lush wetlands of Washington State, to the fragrant pine forests of Oregon and now the barren beauty of the Californian desert. Soon, waving palm trees will slide into view, a Hollywood blue ocean crashing against a golden shore. You take sip of wine, sink back into your chair and take it all in. You are finally here, the country that inspired a thousand songs and myriad novels; the land of heroic myth and romantic tales. And all enjoyed from the comfort of your spacious carriage, taking in the views from the same glamorous prospect that you’ve seen in classic films. So why not make like those Hollywood greats in your very own movie and enjoy the wonders of the USA by rail – you are in good company. Welcome to the Coast Starlight, where legend is brought to life".
