It's time to collect your vehicle. After viewing an instructional video to help familiarise yourself with your RV, a staff member will show you around the vehicle, answer any questions and provide driving guidelines.
Head east towards mighty Yosemite National Park - one of the most famous of all National Parks in North America. No visit to California is complete without experiencing its astounding scenery. As you journey on to your overnight stop in sleepy Lone Pine you'll view the towering Sierra Mountains to the east and Death Valley National Park to the west.
At this point, it is possible to take an overnight detour via Death Valley, however, motorhomes aren't allowed in the national park at certain times of the year due to the intense heat. Your Bon Voyage consultant will discuss your options.

It's time to cruise through the vast Mojave desert before hitting Barstow, a famous Route 66 town. Visit the nostalgic Route 66 Museum then experience some true Americana at Peggy Sue's Diner.
Barstow is also home to the Calico Silver Rush Ghost town. This Old West mining town dates back to 1881 and was abandoned in the later years when silver lost its value. It offers an interesting glimpse back in time with the buildings restored to their former glory.
