Back Bay includes many prominent landmarks, such as the Boston Public Library, Copley Square, Newbury Street and New England's two tallest buildings: 200 Clarendon Street and the Prudential Center. Beacon Hill is one of the oldest communities and a protected historical district. South End is the largest surviving contiguous Victorian-era neighbourhood in America.

Modern day, it's a romantic, charming town brimming with energy. Enjoy a tour exploring the area that inspired the children's classic Anne of Green Gables. If you want to keep to the water, sail the harbour in an historic Chinese junk or enjoy a walking tour with a local guide.

Downtown is full of skyscrapers, shopping, museums and the Parc du Mont-Royal, one of Montreal’s largest green spaces. Old Montreal is a quaint riverfront old town port. Chinatown, the third largest in Canada, has numerous restaurants and shops. The Quartier Latin-Le Village is great for a mooch with myriad boutiques, cafes and pubs. And finally, no visit to Montreal would be complete without a visit to Notre-Dame Basilica. The jewel of Québec’s religious heritage was built between 1824 and 1829 and is one of the oldest examples of Gothic Revival religious architecture in Canada.
