Big Bend National Park
Big Bend National Park encompasses more than 800,000 acres along the Rio Grande River in West Texas and is one of America’s largest national parks. The park encompasses massive canyons, rock formations and vast desert expanses.
Sometimes considered "three parks in one," Big Bend includes mountain, desert, and river areas. In merely one hour’s drive you can travel from the banks of the Rio Grande to a mountain basin nearly a mile high.
