The Biltmore Estate in Asheville is the largest private home in America. George Vanderbilt started building in 1889 and the 250-room house took six years to complete. Today you will see the most exquisite reproduction of a 16th Century French chateau complete with a fabulous collection of furniture and objet d'art.
