Days 1 - 2 Arrive Boston
The 'Athens of America' is yours to discover. Explore the Freedom Trail, ride the swanboats, shop at Quincy Market, enjoy a dinner cruise on Boston Harbor. Take the 'T' to Cambridge or a whale watch cruise from the New England Aquarium. Museums, shops and art galleries complete your visit.
Days 3 - 4 Boston - Quebec
Distance: 394 miles
Travel to romantic Quebec City. Quebec is carved into bluffs overlooking the St. Lawrence River. A city tour reveals the only walled city in North America. The old city's cobblestone streets and French cafes are overlooked by the Chateau Frontenac. Dine on French cuisine, walk along the Dufferin Terrasse.
Day 5 Quebec - Montreal
Distance: 165 miles
Explore the 'Paris of North America'. In old Montreal take a carriage ride along the river, stroll the streets of the Latin Quarter, visit Olympic Park and Notre Dame Basilica. Drive to Mount Royal Park for spectacular views of downtown and see St. Joseph's Oratory.
Day 6 Montreal - Ottawa
Distance: 117 miles
Travel into Ontario on your way to Ottawa, with it's magnificent public gardens, stately parliament buildings, museums and galleries. Just across the river is Hull, Quebec with it's casino and Museum of Civilization.
Days 7 - 8 Ottawa - Toronto
Distance: 254 miles
Welcome to cosmopolitan Toronto, a haven of museums, theatres and art centres. Plan a trip to the top of the CN Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the world.
Day 9 Niagara Falls
Distance: 109 miles
The Niagara River divides the US and Canada. It's sudden drop creates one of the most spectacular waterfalls on the continent. Enjoy a Maid of the Mist cruise of the Falls or helicopter tour.
Day 10 Niagara Falls - Amish Country
Distance: 392 miles
En route to Pennsylvania stop at Corning Glass Center and watch skilled craftsmen blow shape into molten glass. Good food and good times await you in Pennsylvania Dutch country where you can learn how the Amish people work and live.
Days 11 - 12 Amish Country - Washington DC
Distance: 133 miles
Discover Gettysburg, site of the most famous battle of the American Civil War. Washington awaits with history, power and beauty. Days 13 - 14 Washington - New York
Distance: 230 miles
Travel via Philadelphia to visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Drop off your hired car so you can enjoy The Big Apple Take a cruise to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, enjoy a Broadway play or take in the marvellous view from the top of the Empire State Building.
