Visit Canada’s Yukon Territory for this four night package combining a stay in the goldrush town of Whitehorse with a 2 night stay at the Northern Lights Lodge & Spa, a hideaway by the Yukon River.
On this 4 night Winter escape - arrive into Whitehorse and spend some time at leisure in the Yukon’s capital before heading out on your first Northern Lights viewing tour. Day 2 begins with a city tour of Whitehorse and then you transfer to the Northern Lights Resort & Spa for a 2 night stay. Each evening after dinner, you can relax and await a sighting of the Northern Lights from the comfort of an outdoor hot tub or from the warmth of the lodge. Then return to Whitehorse for your final night. You might choose to add a snowmobiling or dogsledding tour to your itinerary (additional charge), to make the most of your northern winter experience.

Average temperatures at the this time of year are -2°C to -24°C, but extremes may be as low as -45°C. Please bring adequate clothing to withstand these temperatures, or alternatively you may buy winter clothing in Whitehorse or rent the clothing package shown above.
This tour has many elements of an expedition and therefore changes to the itinerary are a possibility and the tour can be adapted to suit the weather conditions at any time.
Day 2 starts with a city tour and then arrival at the Northern Lights Resort & Spa. Relax, unwind and soak up the peaceful ambiance.
Located just 20 minutes south of Whitehorse, this little piece of paradise is located in a quiet countryside close to the Yukon River, surrounded by pine forests and ringed by mountains. Built from massive Douglas Fir, the main lodge features a luxurious great room with panoramic views of the Yukon River Valley. Guest accommodation options are a cozy guest room with large en-suite bathroom in the lodge or a well-appointed cottage featuring a large living/bedroom with fireplace, adjacent kitchen and en-suite bathroom.
Wake up to a healthy European-style breakfast at your convenience. Spend the day relaxing in the lodge in front of the fireplace or enjoy a snow shoe hike or a bit of dog sledding (optional tours). If looking to get out of the cold then perhaps a sauna and customized massage treatment in the spa - whatever you desire, the day is yours.

Breakfast at the main lodge and the morning at your leisure. Last chance to enjoy any of the outdoor optional activities.
Transfer back to your hotel in downtown Whitehorse late morning and you have the day to explore. At 9.30pm depart for your last night of Aurora Borealis viewing at the Northern Tales Trading Post with return to the hotel at approximately 2.00 am.
