Day 1 : Arrive Toronto
After arriving in Toronto, make your own way to your hotel for your two-night stay. The rest of the day is at leisure to further explore the city of Toronto.
Day 2 : Discover Toronto
Today discover what lies behind Toronto’s famous skyline on a comprehensive city tour. Experience the sights and sounds of this cosmopolitan city as you explore the lively downtown area and residential areas. On your city tour you'll encounter the Eaton Centre, old and new City Halls, Casa Loma, Yorkville and the University of Toronto. You will pass by the Rogers Centre (formerly known as the SkyDome) and the CN Tower and drive along the Harbourfront for a complete impression of this city. If you enjoy dining with great view then consider an evening meal in the CN Tower, allow Bon Voyage to pre-book this for you.
Day 3 : Niagara Falls
Transfer from Toronto to Niagara Falls. As you journey to Niagara Falls you will catch your first, unforgettable glimpse of the imposing American and Horseshoe Falls.
Day 4 : Niagara Falls
Step aboard a Niagara Airbus coach for an exciting tour of Niagara Falls and pretty Niagara-on-the-Lake. On this fully guided excursion you'll see the Floral Clock and drive along the scenic Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake. You'll enjoy some free time to browse through this picturesque town. A guaranteed highlight of you stay at Niagara Falls is the thrilling boat ride on the Maid of the Mist to the base of the spectacular Horseshoe Falls. Lunch will be served in a local eaterie with magnificent views of the roaring falls.
Day 5 : Calgary to Banff
Arrive in Calgary and transfer by coach to Banff. Leave the cowboy city behind and head towards the stunning heights of the awesome Rockies. Arrive in the lively resort town of Banff nestled beneath the towering Cascade Mountain. Enjoy a day of leisure in Banff.
Day 6 : Gondola to the skies
View Banff from the clouds today as you embark on a gentle ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain in a fully enclosed gondola. A spectacular view of the Bow Valley awaits you at the top of mountain.Spend the morning enjoying the splendid views from the top of Sulphur Mountain before heading back down to Banff for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 7 : A Day of Exploration
Today pull on your hiking shoes and join your informative local guide for a day of exploration. The magnificent natural wonders of the area will be revealed on your hikes to classic locations in the Banff and Lake Louise area along the trails in Yoho National Park, Larch Valley, Stanley Glacier and the Plain of 6 Glaciers. Lunch is included in a scenic spot.
Day 8 : Take the Icefields Parkway
Today’s coach sightseeing transfer travels along the spectacular Icefields Parkway. Gigantic glaciers, cascading waterfalls, turquoise lakes and colourful meadows dot this awe-inspiring mountain wilderness. The coach will stop at the Columbia Icefield where you venture by Ice Explorer onto the massive Athabasca Glacier.
Day 9 : Outdoor adventures
Your adventure continues today with an exciting excursion into the trails just outside of Jasper. Here you'll retrace the steps of Canada’s historic fur traders and experience the jagged mountain peaks, shimmering glaciers, crystal clear lakes and abundant wildlife of Mount Edith Cavell on a guided hike with commentary.
Day 10 : Explore Jasper National Park
Further adventures await you today as you explore the Jasper area by water and by foot. An easy introduction to white water rafting allows you to experience views of Jasper National Park with a licensed guide on the Athabasca River. Later, explore the stunning Maligne Valley and discover striking natural beauty, abundant wildlife and a genuine geological mystery of the ‘disappearing lake’ while searching for osprey, bald eagles, big horn sheep, elk, deer and bears.
Day 11 : Jasper to Lake Louise
Departing the quiet surroundings of Jasper, you are transferred along the Trans Canada Highway through the forested laneways of Banff National Park. Elk, deer and other creatures can often be spotted grazing just on the tree line. Arriving in beautiful Lake Louise, you may enjoy a walk by the shores of the famous lake, or have tea in the lobby of the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
Day 12 : Lake Louise and more
Today on this fascinating guided tour discover Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks - one of the great photo opportunities in the Canadian Rockies. Cross the Great Divide into Yoho National Park via the scenic Kicking Horse Pass. Spend time at magnificent Takakkaw Falls before returning to your Lake Louise hotel.
Day 13 : Lake Louise to Calgary
Today you bid the mountains farewell as you are transferred to Calgary International Airport for your flight home. However, your adventure doesn't have to end here. Perhaps you may want to extend your stay and travel the Rocky Mountaineer Train to Vancouver or maybe spend a few extra days in Calgary.
