American Jazz Museum and Negro Baseball Museum
The sights and sounds of a uniquely American art
form come alive at the American Jazz Museum in the Historic 18th & Vine Jazz District in Kansas City. This is the place where jazz
masters such as Charlie Parker, Count Basie, Big Joe Turner, and hundreds of
others defined the sounds of the 1920s, 30s, and 40s.

Changing Gallery, the Blue Room jazz club and the Gem Theatre, a 500-seat
performing arts centre, alltell their own story of the good old days.
in 1990, the Negro Baseball Museum in Kansas City is dedicated to preserving the rich history of Afro American Baseball. The
museum is enriched with multimedia displays, photographs and artefacts dating
from the late 1800's to the 1960's.
