The American Duchess, the first all-suite paddle wheeler on US rivers was launched in September 2017 by the American Steamboat Company.
This floating boutique cruiser carries up to 166 guests in luxury and will follow itineraries of her sister vessel, The American Queen, along the Lower Mississippi from Memphis to New Orleans. In a new move for the cruise line, the ship will also offer stays in port, notably in the heart of Nashville.

Lead in prices start at £4995 per person (twin share) for an 11-night holiday which include return flights from Heathrow, transfers on arrival, two nights in the historic Peabody Hotel in Memphis prior to cruise and seven nights’ full-board five-star accommodation – with gourmet meals - in an outside veranda cabin. The holiday ends with two nights at The Montelone Hotel in the historic French Quarter of in New Orleans. Private transfers and tours are also included in New Orleans and Memphis.
