Days 1 - 3 : Memphis, Tennessee
Perched above the Mississippi River, Memphis is the Birthplace of rock 'n’ roll, home of the blues and the starting point of soul. We've included a Musical Passport as part of your holiday which includes entrance to Graceland, Sun Studios, Rock 'N' Soul Museum and the Stax Museum.
For a truly moving experience, visit the Lorraine Motel and the National Civil Rights Museum where Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. Spend your evenings strolling along famous Beale Street filling up on delicious Memphis style BBQ and listening to incredible blues bands.
Days 4 - 6 : New Orleans, Louisiana
Leave Memphis behind you as you board The City of New Orleans train to New Orleans - The Big Easy. You'll travel through the Mississippi Delta region past the historic town of Jackson before arriving early afternoon.
New Orleans is America’s most sensual city. Steeped in history with influences from Europe, the Caribbean, and Africa. It’s a brilliant mosaic of culture, architecture, food and music. The roots of jazz are all over this city and the entertainment like nowhere else on Earth. During your three nights we've included a half-day New Orleans city tour and a Mississippi River paddle steamer cruise.
Day 7 : Embark Norwegian Pearl New Orleans
Enjoy the morning in New Orleans before boarding the Norwegian Pearl early evening and setting sail in the Gulf of Mexico for Cozumel.
Day 8 : Day at sea
Use this relaxing day at sea to fully explore the Norwegian Dawn. Sun-bathe by one of the two pools, get active in the fitness centre, try you luck in the casino or pamper yourself in the spa. Or, enjoy time on your cabin balcony watching the world go by - the day is yours to do as little or a much as you desire.
Day 9 : Cozumel, Mexico
Your first port of call is the tiny tropical island of Cozumel, twelve miles off the Mexican coast. It's home to divine beaches, great diving over Palancar Reef and all the fun of fiesta in lively San Miguel. The magical Mayan ruins of Tulum is another option.
Day 10 : Belize City, Belize
Belize is an eco-tourist’s dream, so be sure to get out and explore parks, nature reserves and the world’s second longest barrier. Trek or zip-line through rainforests, go inner tubing down an underground river through fantastic caves or enjoy a leisurely horse ride through the lush jungle.
Day 11 : Roatan, Honduras
One of the three Bay Islands off the cost of Honduras, Roátan has beautiful beaches backed by tropical forests. Head to Tabyana Beach to to view the frolicking dolphins and enjoy a mouth-watering barbecue lunch to the sound of Caribbean music. You won't want to leave, trust us!
Day 12 : Costa Maya, Mexico
Costa Maya, a lively Mexican port was built for fun! Here you'll be spoilt for choice on what to do. Shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment and gorgeous beaches with gin-clear water await you. Looking for a spot of culture? Check out the magnificent Kohunlich Mayan site. Built before 500 AD, this is home to a sunken palace, pyramid temple and unique sculpted masks of the Mayan sun god..
Days 13 : Day at sea
Enjoy your last full day cruising in the Gulf of Mexico.
Day 14 : New Orleans, disembark the Norwegian Pearl
You'll arrive refreshed and relaxed back in the port of New Orleans with disembarkation mid-morning.
