Day 1 : Arrive Las Vegas

Welcome to Las Vegas the entertainment capital of the USA. Meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers at 6pm for a Welcome Reception.

Day 2 : Las Vegas - Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks

Leave behind Sin City and head for the colourful slot canyons and incredible towering cliffs and hidden waterfalls of Zion National Park. Your day ends in Bryce Canyon and the fairytale land of hoodoos - tall limestone spires that rise majestically from the desert floor.

Day 3 : Bryce Canyon - Salt Lake City

Today it's time to head north to Utah's fascinating capital, Salt Lake City. Stroll around famed Temple Square, headquarters to the Mormon church and home to the renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Day 4 : Salt Lake City - Montpelier - Jackson

As you cross the Oregon Trail and enter into Wyoming, you'll get a glimpse of what life was like in the pioneer days. You'll enjoy the interactive exhibits at the Oregon Trail Center in Montpelier, before you travel through some incredible scenery en route to historic Jackson, nestled in the shadows of the Grand Tetons. This evening is free for you to explore the many eateries and western bars in this pretty town.

Day 5 : Jackson - Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks

Cross the alpine landscapes of Grand Teton National Park en route to Yellowstone's geothermal wonderland. We overnight at one of the lodges within the national park.

Day 6 : Yellowstone National Park sightseeing

Today is a full day of exploration in Yellowstone National Park. View wildlife, canyons and waterfalls in one of the most spectacular settings on earth. 

Day 7 : Yellowstone - Cody - Billings

Head north today to the town of Cody, on the outskirts of Yellowstone National Park. The Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody is a must-do. Learn about life in the wild west and it's most famous son, Buffalo Bill. Next, it's off to Montana, Big Sky Country, for an evening of true Western hospitality.

Day 8 : Billings - Little Bighorn - Rapid City

Today you'll visit Little Bighorn, Montana, the infamous battlefield where the Custer led his men against a battalion of Sioux and Cheyenne warriors.

Then, travel east through the eerie Black Hills of Dakota to the second largest city in South Dakota, Rapid City. Have fun here in the evening visiting the cowboy bars and steak houses.

Day 9 : Black Hills Excursion

Venture into the Black Hills of South Dakota as you make your way to the base of Crazy Horse Memorial. As you gaze at the colossal carved face of this famous war leader, learn how your visit Makes a Difference by preserving Native American Culture. We continue to Mount Rushmore to view the faces of former American presidents etched into the granite rock-face, then Dive into Culture with Stephen Yellowhawk, who will regale you with stories of his tribe's history during a festive dinner.

Day 10 : Rapid City - Denver

Today, you’ll travel through some of the West’s most beautiful terrain as you make your way from South Dakota, through Wyoming, to Colorado finally Denver, the Mile High City. Be sure to visit one of the micro-breweries in Denver, or stroll around historic Lodo (Lower Denver). 

Days 11/12 : Denver - Vail - Arches National Park - Moab

Travel through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and enjoy time in the pretty mountain village of Vail before a national park stop at Arches, Utah. Here, the wind and rain have eroded the sandstone into more than 2,000 natural arches. Enjoy the evening in Moab on your own where you can choose from many dining options ranging from casual Mexican to fine dining. Optional evening jetboat trips are also available along the Colorado River.

Day 13 : Moab - Mesa Verde National Park - Monument Valley

En route to magical Monument Valley, you'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site at Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado. It was here between AD 600 and 1300, that the Ancestral Puebloan people carved houses and entire communities out of the sandstone of the canyon walls. You'll have time here to explore huge Cliff House, the largest cliff dwelling in the world. You're in for a treat this evening as you'll get to sample a Navajo dinner in Monument Valley.

Day 14 : Monument Valley - Grand Canyon National Park

Rise early to view the sunrise over Monument Valley. It's a magical experience. Today you'll explore the towering sandstones buttes on open-top vehicles accompanied by a local Navajo guide and learn more about the lore and legend of this special place.

The mighty Grand Canyon awaits you next on your guided tour of the national parks of America. Here you'll meet with a local expert and learn about the two billion years of geology revealed in the canyon. This is the last night of your tour and you'll be invited to a special Farewell Dinner with your travelling companions. A fabulous end to an amazing adventure.

Day 15 : Grand Canyon - Depart Las Vegas

Hit the road again, stopping in Seligman and Kingman - Route 66 hot spots that have kept the old Mother Road culture alive. End your journey back in Las Vegas where a complimentary transfer is provided to Las Vegas International Airport.

This is the end of your escorted tour, however, your adventure doesn't have to end here. Perhaps you may want to extend your stay in Las Vegas, spend a few days in San Francisco or maybe head to the Hawaiian Islands for some relaxation before flying back home.
