With a host of restaurants to choose from it's up to you whether you dine casual or upmarket...it is Michigan Avenue after all.
Two of our favourites? It was too hard to pick just one! The Purple Pig is an award winner with a native Chicago chef born and raised in the restaurant business. For seafood or steak, you can't beat the great atmosphere of Eddie V's Seafood. Plus there's live jazz and blues nightly in the restaurant's V Lounge.
And then there's Eataly! At 63,000 square feet, Eataly Chicago offers customers the opportunity to shop, taste and enjoy. With 23 eateries, a fine dining restaurant and 21 retail departments, you could easily spend the day. Departments include a bakery and pastry counter, fresh pasta counter, a meat and fish counter, a Nutella corner, wine bar and store and two coffee bars. There's also a selection of housewares and books, Italian dried pastas, canned goods, sauces, oils....the list well and truly goes on.
You can also enjoy meals or cocktails 'Upstairs at the Gwen.' The hotel is known for one of the best rooftop bars in Chicago and has direct, enclosed access to The Shops at North Bridge. We're thinking champagne shopping break? You know we think of everything when it comes to our retail time!
