Bearizona is a drive through Wildlife Park nestled amongst the pristine Ponderosa Pine forests of Northern Arizona, just a 35 minute drive from Flagstaff and any easy short side trip on route to the Grand Canyon. It's the only park of its kind in the south west, and was recently voted "One of the Top 10 Best Drive Through Wildlife Parks" in the entire country by U.S.A. Today.
Bearizona invites guests to drive into the Arizona Wilderness and witness herd and pack life from the comfort and safety of their own private vehicle. The drive through portion of the park is approximately three-miles long and allows guests to travel into the animals enclosures with them, gaining unprecedented views and vantage points of these incredible and otherwise elusive North American animals.
Here you'll witness wildlife the way it was meant to be, in a natural environment. Animals you'll see on tour include: rugged mountain goats, rocky mountain elk and deer, friendly American burros, majestic brown bison weighing up to 2,000lbs, nimble big horn sheep as well as dall sheep, stealthy Alaskan tundra and Arctic wolves, unique White Bison, and of course, beautiful black bears.
After the drive through, guests will arrive at Fort Bearizona walk through. This beautiful area is home to more animals on exhibit ranging from fox and porcupines to badgers and adorable bear cubs! Stroll along winding paths to enjoy the antics of these critters while taking in the beautiful surrounding forest.
There is plenty to do within Fort Bearizona including stopping by the petting zoo area and nocturnal exhibits, or catching the amazing Birds of Prey Show where you’ll get to learn about hawks, owls and other raptors and see them fly directly overhead!
