Navy Pier is a 3,300-foot long pier along Chicago’s Lake Michigan shoreline. The pier was built in 1916 with centerpiece attractions today including a 150-foot tall Ferris wheel, an IMAX theater, the Chicago Shakespeare Theater and the Chicago Children's Museum – plus dining opportunities as diverse as Chicago itself.
In the summer months, fireworks explode over the lakefront every Wednesday and Saturday night and the Beer Garden features the best of Chicago's live music scene with rock, blues, salsa, soul, R&B and more!
Had enough of dry land? Board one of the many pleasure boats along Dock Street for an elegant dinner cruise complete with dancing and live entertainment or hop aboard a Seadog speedboat, among the fastest in the U.S., for a thrilling ride on Lake Michigan.
