Wawona Hotel is located four miles from the Park's south entrance, cradled
between the majestic Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and the bustling activity of Yosemite Valley.
From strolling this historic property's grounds, golfing at the Audubon Certified Sanctuary, enjoying a stable ride or snowshoeing to exploring the Pioneer Museum or simply enjoying a cocktail in the Adirondack chairs, Wawona is a lovely option the entire family will enjoy any time of the year.
Most of the hotel's 104 guestrooms open onto one of it's signature verandas and are reminiscent of European-style hotel rooms.
Housed in six buildings, the rooms are furnished in period pieces and
antiques. Fifty of the rooms have private baths, while the rest share central
baths.There are no telephones or televisions, allowing guests to completely escape and
relax while on holiday.
