The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass is located near Chandler, to the south of Phoenix and just 11 miles from the airport. The resort aims to offer a recreational, educational experience never before found in a resort setting. All the architecture, design, art and legends of the Pima and Maricopa tribes are celebrated in every way both indoors and outside.
The resort lies in the Sonoran Desert where wild horses still roam free against the backdrop of rugged mountains. This is a magical place that will have you entranced from the moment you enter the dramatic lobby. The resort has 500 guest rooms with wonderful views of the mountains, the golf course or the river. There are three excellent restaurants, a large pool area, equestrian centre, tennis courts, an award winning spa and, just a short boat ride away on the Gila River, is the Wild Horse Pass Casino.
The resort is surrounded by the Troon Golf managed Whirlwind Golf Club with its two superb golf courses, Devil’s Claw and Cattail. These two courses were designed by the award winning golf architect, Gary Panks and they will impress and challenge golfers in equal measure. Both courses feature pristine and uncluttered views of the Sierra Estrella Mountains and the courses showcase the beauty of the natural terrain. Golf in Arizona does not get much better than this.
