The Pinehurst Resort is one of the oldest golf resorts in the USA but is still probably the best resort of them all.
Once at Pinehurst you will feel part of a club and you will enjoy the experiences and privileges that the club has to offer. For accommodation there is a wide range of options available. The main building is the Carolina Inn and nearby there is the Manor Inn, Holly Inn and the Villas at Pinehurst. All rooms are spacious and have private bathrooms and all modern amenities. Apart from the golf, Pinehurst offers, tennis, sailing at Lake Pinehurst, five swimming pools, croquet and a superb spa, health and fitness centre.
People come to Pinehurst to golf. Like a religion, Pinehurst
has become a mecca of golfing tradition, quality and incomparable challenge.
There are eight championship quality golf courses. Pinehurst is best known for
the Donald Ross designed No. 2 Course and certainly one of the truly great
courses in the USA. In recent years the US Open was held at Pinehurst in 1999
and 2005 and is scheduled to host the 2014 US Open as well as the Ladies US
Open in consecutive weeks.
Very rarely does the amateur golfer get a chance to play on a US Open venue. This is your chance.
