Day 1-3 Boston

A transfer by shuttle from the airport to your hotel is included. A separate voucher must be issued for this service. Our professional TOURCO tour director will be available in the hotel lobby from 18:00 to 21:00. Here you may collect your TOURCO tour information packet.

On your first morning in Boston, join your tour director in the lobby of the hotel at 08:30 for a 09:00 departure. During this morning’s tour, experience the contrast between the past and present, viewing sites ranging from the Old North Church to the modern John Hancock Tower. This afternoon you are free to explore the city on your own.

This morning, depart at 09:00 to travel along the North Shore of Massachusetts and the southern coast of Maine. Travel through the town of Salem, noted for its 17th century witchcraft trials. Further up the coast are the charming fishing port of Gloucester and the famous Fishermen’s Memorial statue commemorating ... they that go down in ships. The artist colonies of Rockport, Massachusetts and Kennebunkport, Maine, bustle in the summer and provide the quiet inspiration of the sea all year long

Day 4-5 To White Mountains

Begin with a stop at Portland Head Light, a lovely example of a respected architectural form. Next, we head inland into New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Travel along the scenic Kancamagus Highway, an old Indian Trail which cuts through the National Forest. Enjoy an included aerial tram ride to the summit of Cannon Mountain which offers splendid views of the area (weather permitting).

Days 7-9 To Newport and Cape Cod

Today we travel to Newport, RI, the sailing capital of New England. Here, at the turn of the last century, America’s most wealthy families lived in such opulence that they referred to their palatial seasonal homes as cottages. You will tour one of these summer cottages. Then it is on to Cape Cod. While here, choose
