Smithsonian Museums
The Smithsonian Institution, the world's largest museum complex and research organisation is composed of 19 museums, 9 research centers and the National Zoo. Extraordinarily admission to them all is FREE. Ideally you would devote a number of days to these superb museums but recognizing that time is likely to be short the ‘must sees’ are considered The National Air and Space Museum, The National Museum of Natural History and the National Gallery of Art.
