Maritime National Historical Park and makes its home in the
historic Haslett Warehouse at The Cannery.
The Argonaut boasts original
red brick walls and rich wood beams and embodies the rich nautical history of San
Francisco in its heyday.
You'll enjoy its plush intricate decor and its inviting lobby with a
'living room' complete with fireplace and working astronomer's clock above the
mantel.
Other maritime touches include 'deck' floors. Some of the pristine rooms have fantastic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
Offering some of the most picturesque accommodations in San Francisco, the rooms celebrate the hotel's waterfront location. Many of the 252 guestrooms and 13 suites offer stunning views of San Francisco landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay, Coit Tower and the Transamerica Pyramid.
As you'd expect from a hotel housed in an historic warehouse,
some of the guestrooms include original exposed brick walls, large timbers or
warehouse steel doors - all original to this historic 1907 San Francisco
building.

Located adjacent to the Argonaut Hotel on Fisherman's Wharf, the Blue Mermaid Chowder House & Bar is a classic San Francisco seafood restaurant serving casual fare and a large helping of Gold Rush Era ambiance. This restaurant offers a menu priced for the whole family, featuring classic preparation of fresh seafood and homemade chowders in a casual ambiance, it's loved by tourists and locals alike.
After a day sightseeing pop into the bustling Blue Mermaid Bar for
a delicious glass of Californian wine, a warming Irish Coffee or an
ocean-themed cocktail or two. The Argonaut Hotel also offers in-room

Although we can't think why you'd need this, San Francisco is perched
