On the Waterfront
Festival, in downtown Rockford, has become Illinois’ largest music
festival with over 100 performers in seven music venues covering 30 city blocks.
Every taste of music is catered for rock, country, alternative rock, hip
hop, punk rock bands and local bands. No Midwest festival would be complete without
great food vendors (over 50 to choose from), rides for the kids and arts & crafts booths.
On the Waterfront is held on Labor Day weekend and this year the legendary Charlie Daniels Band is kicking of the festivities.
