The Peabody is located just a few blocks from Beale Street, the Gibson Guitar Factory and Rock N Soul Museum. Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, is approximately 15 minutes from The Peabody.
Historian David Cohn once wrote, “ The Mississippi Delta begins in the lobby of The Peabody Hotel… If you stand near its fountain in the middle of the lobby… ultimately you will see everybody who is anybody in the Delta…”

Despite closing its doors twice, the hotel is a community institution, where celebrities, tourists, socialites and business travellers mix and mingle with ease. The Peabody Memorabilia Room honours the rich heritage of the hotel and the city and is filled with historic artifacts such as old menus, news clippings and photographs donated by guests and friends of The Peabody.

The Capriccio Grill, is less formal with a delicious choice of steaks, pasta and chops. We recommend the excellent Memphis Blues Brunch every Sunday, accompanied by live music.
