Today the fun begins. Pack wisely as there won't be a huge amount of luggage space on the bike. But hey, you are off to explore the Florida Keys which are incredibly laid-back, no need to dress to impress here. Jeans, a couple of t-shirts, swimwear and cool shades are all you'll require. You can leave the rest of your luggage at the Harley-Davidson depot in Miami and collect it when you return your bike.
It's a short ride today to Key Largo, the longest and largest of the easternmost island of the Florida Keys. Today you'll also experience the start of the 113-mile drive on Highway 1 from mainland Florida to Key West.
Considered one of The Scenic Drives of a Lifetime, Highway 1, known as the Overseas Highway, runs from Key Largo to Key West. This scenic route unrolls like a long dark ribbon in front of you, with immense vistas of turquoise water and paler blue sky stretching endlessley either side of you.
Driving from mainland Florida down the Overseas Highway, it's easy to
understand why the southernmost leg of U.S Highway 1 is often referred to as the
"Highway that Goes to the Sea" too. In fact, en route to Key West you encounter an
astonishing 42 bridges over open waters of the Atlantic Ocean, Florida Bay and
the Gulf of Mexico. From the top of some of these bridges, the individual
islands in the distance look tiny and fragile against the sea and sky.
A true highlight of this route is to drive across the incredible Seven Mile
Bridge, nothing but sparkling sea and deserted islands surround you,
this is cruisin' at its best.
Tonight your stay is in Key Largo. If you're a scuba diver, you'll adore the diving here. Arrive by 1pm and you'll probably be able to enjoy a 2 hour afternoon dive. Not a diver? Like dolphins? Then why not visit Theatre of The Seas and swim with the dolphins here (must pre-book). John Pennekamp State Park is also worth a visit, take a glass bottom boat trip here to view the marine life. Alternatively, there are some great Tiki Bars in Key Largo, park up the bike, order a cool beer and just enjoy the scenery.

Today you'll leave Key Largo behind and continue south on the incredible Overseas Highway. Stop for breakfast at Robbies and hand feed the monster tarpon here. You might even like to drop in at the Aqua Ranch to view the giant cobia. Your ride today is the most scenic part of the Overseas Highway, take it slowly, enjoy the scenery, stop for a cooling dip in the turquiose seas. If you weren't relaxed before, you sure will be now.
You'll cruise into lively Key West for your overnight stay around early afternoon which will give you plenty of time to explore this quirky little island.
Key West is also known as the Last Resort, the Southernmost Point in the
continental U.S. Key West is whatever you want it to be. You can hide out in a
tucked away guesthouse, walk the beach, watch a beautiful sunset at Mallory Square, dance
the night away or peruse colourful Duval Street. We like the quirky Pirate Walking Tours of Key West and the interesting Conch Train tour . If you've got time, jump on an early evening catamaran trip, the Florida Keys sunsets are legendary.

Arrive in Islamorada, the Sport Fishing Capital of the World early afternoon, park up the bike and head for Pierre's or the Islamorada Fishing Company Restaurant. Great seafood, huge cocktails, lively atmosphere and flaming sunsets to die for, are all on offer here. All in all a great end to your Florida Keys Harley adventure.

Be sure to take the Tamiami Trail Highway 41 option from Miami and head for Naples, your next resort, via the Everglades National Park. This 1.5 million acre park is one of North America's unsung wild places - a beautiful, rugged, subtropical wilderness. Stop at Everglades City, a great access point for Everglades National Park. Enjoy fresh fish in one of the riverfront fish markets, the stone crab is delicious. Hop aboard an airboat or swamp buggy to see the Everglades at their best. If you're lucky you may see an alligator or two..
After your wilderness experience its time to hit civilisation again and the sun-drenched beaches of Naples on the Gulf of Mexico. For your next 3 nights here do as much or as little as you like. We recommend sunset walks along the 7 miles of pristine sandy beaches, a round of golf at one of the many championship courses, joining the locals on the Pier to try a spot of fishing or just enjoy a cool beer and lively conversation. There's the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens or sea canoeing available. If you're feeling energetic then head up to quaint Sanibel Island hire bikes and explore this tropical island packed with wildlife. You'll also love shelling on the 50 miles of beaches here, the beaches are awash with over 400 species of shells.
Like dolphins? Who doesn't. Spot these from the shore in Naples or nearby Marco Island. Shopping in Naples is another treat with a spectacular selection of fashionable centres and plazas to choose from. be if 35 miles of sugary white sand sounds good to you. And we are talking
seriously rated beaches including Fort De Soto Park (America's No. 1-rated beach
in 2008/9) and Caladesi Island State Park (America's No.1-rated beach in 2008).
If you're an art lover, you'll adore the Salvadore Dali Museum in nearby St Pete's.Enjoy wildlife? Then take an hour's drive up the coast to Crystal River and view the huge "sea cows" or manatees. We know you'll love the Clearwater Marine Aquarium too, home to possibly the world's most famous dolphin, Winter.
With Clearwater Beach as you're base, it makes it easy to pop into Orlando for a day, it's less than a 2 hour drive. Here you may want to experience the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter and the many other thrilling themes parks this area has to offer. In nearby Tampa, a visit to Busch Gardens is a must and if you fancy a spot of shopping, then we definately recommend a trip to Ybor City.
