Day 1 Arrive Portland
Tour begins: Portland, Oregon at 5:00 PM. A transfer is included from Portland International Airport to The Westin Portland,a boutique hotel in the vibrant center of downtown, close to fabulous restaurants and entertainment. You’ve come to the right place to begin a unique culinary travel adventure! The Pacific Northwest is fast becoming a top destination for food lovers and world-class chefs for its emphasis on fresh, locally produced ingredients, and the region has an unparalleled bounty to draw upon in its abundant seafood, vineyards, and organic farms. Join us for dinner tonight at the Davis Street Tavern, where the menu showcases the best in Northwest cuisine and wines.

Day 2 Epicurean Portland & Winery Visit
Get a taste of Portland this morning before driving to Mount Hood and the Timberline Lodge, a classic ski resort with breathtaking views. Wind through Oregon's famed wine country, with a stop at Mount Hood Winery. The drive back to Portland features landscapes of awesome beauty, including magnificent Multnomah Falls. Return to your hotel, where the evening is free.

Day 3 A Different take on Seattle
Your epicurean odyssey takes you across the Puget Lowland to Seattle, home to Microsoft, Starbucks, Frasier Crane, and a burgeoning food culture that rivals any place in America. Lunch at Salty’s at Alki Beach in West Seattle, a landmark seafood restaurant, with floor to ceiling windows that offer panoramic views of the mountains and city skyline. Our excersions take you on a drive through the Scandinavian district of Ballard, and to Capitol Hill, with its impressive historic houses.

Day 4 Pike Place Market / Sky City Restaurant
Established in 1907, Pike Place Market is the oldest continually operating farmers market in the country, and its vast arcade houses hundreds of stalls of produce vendors, fishmongers, local food artisans and craftsmen. Immerse yourself in the waves of aromas, tastes, and color as an interpretive guided tour takes you through this gourmand’s paradise, and introduces you to the artisans, chefs and farmers that produce it. The market is in the commercial heart of the city, which you can explore at your leisure. Join us for a special dinner at Sky City Restaurant amidst spectacular views.

Day 5 Olympic Peninsula / Victoria
A ferry transports you across a narrow strait to Bainbridge, where the road will take you along the panoramas of Puget Sound to Port Angeles. Sail from here to Victoria, British Columbia, a picturesque city of beautifully restored 19th-century buildings and a food culture that is rich and discriminating. The evening is free for you to discover the sensory pleasures of this charming city from your hotel on the Inner Harbor.

Day 6 The Butchart Gardens / Vancouver
If you thought apple cider was brown and ordinary, you are in for a surprise at Sea Cider Orchards in Oak Bay. This family-owned orchard turns its organic heritage apples into ciders that you might mistake for wine – clear, robust to delicate, still to sparkling, with sophisticated flavors and aromas. Discover them for yourself as you sip cider by the sea in tastings expertly interpreted and paired with food. You’ll then arrive at The Butchart Gardens, family-run since the 1920s, and a major draw for garden aficionados from all over the world: 55 acres of floral shows, elegantly landscaped with statuary and fountains. Lunch today is afternoon tea at the original family residence, surrounded by floral splendor. On your return to Victoria, a floatplane will fly you to Coal Harbor, Vancouver, and right to the dock of your hotel: The Westin Bayshore on the waterfront, close to historic Stanley Park and the vibrant downtown city-life.

Day 7 Treetop Adventure / Public Market
A breathtaking “treetop adventure” offers you a squirrel’s eye-view of the coastal rainforest. Tour Stanley Park, and explore the Gastown District on your own for lunch. A chef-guided tour of Granville Island Public Market culminates with our farewell dinner of gourmand delights and cooking demonstrations at "Edible at the Market".

Day 8 Journey Home
Tour ends: Vancouver, BC. Fly home anytime. Transfers from The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver are included to Vancouver Int’l Airport, or the train station. Allow 3 hours for flight check-in.
