Opened in the summer of 2006, Cathedral Mountain Lodge features authentic log cabins nestled in the trees at the edge of the glacier fed Kicking Horse River.
Purposely designed without TVs, telephones or Internet access, this lodge experience allows for complete relaxation. Indulge in a leisurely bath in the soaker tub, or ponder the serenity of the wilderness while resting on your large private deck.
The lodge is also close to attractions and activities of Yoho National Park, Lake Louise and Banff National Park, perfect for the nature enthusiast.
Room Amenities
Wapta Cabins offer rustic log queen beds or one king bed or two twin beds with a down duvet, vaulted ceilings, gas fireplace and spacious decks. There are no telephones or televisions in the guest rooms. Oversized windows offer
mountain views and each cabin provides a hairdryer, down duvets and pillows, and Aveda bath amenities.
Lodge Amenities and Facilities
The restaurant at Cathedral Mountain Lodge has enjoyed an excellent reputation for innovative presentation and fresh regional cuisine. Consistently chosen as one of the best small restaurants in the country, all meals are prepared with quality and health in mind. The menu showcases organic and free range in-season regional cuisine, as well Canada’s finest wine with selections from both Old and New World vineyards. Enjoy a delicious complimentary continental breakfast at the lodge.
