The lush, tropical acres at Kona Village Resort offers three distinct areas of Hawaiian lodging accommodations which they call “Sand,” “Lava,” and “Lagoon.” Within each area of the resort, there is a variety of unique, individual thatched roof bungalows, locally called hale. Each is cooled by trade winds and interior ceiling fans, is generously sized and includes thoughtful in-room hotel amenities.
Here you'll experience barefoot luxury in an environment that still speaks to it's past and showcases Hawaii, as it was meant to be. No televisions, radios, telephones or air-conditioners distract from the keen sense of place. Coconuts supplement traditional “do not disturb” signs.
