While Augusta is known worldwide for the Masters® golf tournament founded by the legendary Bobby Jones, you'll find that Georgia's second-largest and second-oldest city is full of atmosphere, history, and good ‘ole Southern charm.
Augusta has a wealth of historic charm with tree-lined streets and majestic antebellum mansions. Enjoy a rich variety of shops and restaurants, cultural attractions and entertainment, or wander along the banks of the Savannah River as you stroll Riverwalk Augusta.
Unfortunately it is not possible to visit Augusta National Golf Club unless you are one of the lucky few with a ticket to the tournament (or you know a member!) but there is plenty more in this city of the old South to make you glad you visited.
