8 night Jazz and Blues Itinerary
Nights 1-2
Arrive Chicago mid afternoon and check in at the 4 star Whitehall Hotel for 2 nights.
Check out the Sears Tower, Navy Pier, Shedd Aquarium, Soldier Field, shop along the Magnificent Mile or take an "Untouchables" Gangster tour.
In the evening head to Andys Jazz Club/Blue Chicago.
Night 3
Leave behind the Windy City and take the overnight train from Chicago to Memphis. Your accommodation on this journey is in a bedroom with bunk beds, shower/ toilet and with meals included.
Nights 4-5
Arrive early morning into Memphis and check in at the 4 star Doubletree Hotel near the famous Beale Street for 2 nights.
Head for Graceland, Sun Studio, Memphis Rock n Soul Museum, or try the quirky Backbeat tours of Memphis Music (lead by musicians perfoming live on an 1950's bus!)
In the evening head to Rum Boogie Cafe/BB Kings Blues Club
Nights 6 7 8
Leave Memphis early to arrive in New Orleans mid afternoon, your leisurely train journey takes you through historic Jackson, Mississippii and the old cotton fields before arriving in the Big Easy and your 2 night stay at the 4 star historic Maison Dupuy..
Enjoy a Steamboat Jazz cruise along the Mississippi, explore the French Quarter, visit Mardi Gras World, take a streetcar tour of Garden District or try the spooky Ghost, Vampire and Voodoo walking tours!
Evening head for Preservation Hall/Court of the Two Sisters.
